Bit4id was founded in 2004 to develop digital identities and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) systems.

It has customers in more than twenty countries and in three continents, with a fully owned full PKI stack.

Bit4id designs, develops and provides all components from the smart cards and tokens to the certificate consuming applications (like digital signature, massive batch digital signature, Single Sign On, SAML Identity Providers, secure logging systems, Credential Management systems, root and subordinate certification authorities, timestamping authorities, online validators).

Its softwares are  currently installed in more than 10 million of computer systems worldwide serving the needs of citizens, professionals, businesses, corporates, organizations and countries.
