Bebox is a start-up composed of 3 partners :
- Faast Think Tank : a private research center in sustainable construction, support by various major actors in Belgium and Luxembourg (www.faast.be)
- Ark Habitat : a technological start-up focused on automation / industrialisation of the sector
- Benoit Quevrin : CEO, civil engineer and architect specialised for more than 10 years in sustainability. Teacher at ULB, UMons and EC Lille.
The mission is the commercialisation of products based on sustainable modular construction. In particular the 0box concept (www.0box.be) : 3 dimensional elements that can be assembled in factory and/or on site, that can achieve energy autonomy and self sufficiency in water.
Bebox intends also to market the elements resulting from this concept (metal structure, solar panels, water management systems, interior furniture, innovative solutions, intelligent space management, etc).
The financing concept such as « rental », « leasing » or « promise to buy back » will be integrated into Bebox’s values as an objective of economic and environmental innovation.
The industrialisation of the modules is also an objective pursued by Bebox, which aims by this way, to reduce costs and improve sustainable efficiency.
