CtrlMovie disrupts the film and gaming industry by combining the best of both worlds, creating an exciting new entertainment experience. 

The CtrlMovie ecosystem allows film studios and independent filmmakers to create, produce and distribute seamless interactive movies for theatrical exhibition, home entertainment, mobile devices and streaming.

With the current buy-in of both film industry and consumers the format is poised to become the internationalstandard for participative cinema. 

Late Shift, the first feature film based on the Swiss film technology, was received to rave reviews by both the press (“The Most Important Film of the Year” – The Times) and public (average 90% user rating) and garnered a much-coveted BAFTA Award – amongst others.

20th Century Fox was the first studio to pick up the technology, and Paramount, who is now and investor in the company, Disney, Lionsgate and independent studios are all developing content based on the CtrlMovie technology. Steven Spielberg also fell in love with the technology. His company “Amblin Partners” is financing a CtrlMovie for Kino Industries (distributed by Universal).

Partnerships with movie theater chains around the world have been forged with the support of the studios, talent agency WME and the noted members of our advisory board.

The company is active internationally, with sales and film production headquarters in Los Angeles and Beijing and the technology team based in Germany and Switzerland.
