ESIL (Early Stage Investing Launchpad) is a pan-European initiative funded by the European Union and promoted by the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation. It supports business angels and early-stage investors through awareness-raising, capacity-building, and cross-border collaboration.

ESIL is committed to:

• Improving the angel investment market
• Stimulating cross-border investment opportunities
• Finding new deals and connecting relevant networks
• Building tailored training programmes for local ecosystems

With a focus on countries where angel investing is still developing — including Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Romania, Poland, and Hungary — ESIL helps build diverse, connected communities and promotes gender parity and investment diversity in the European landscape.
