⚡👏 A new funding round for a Africa Next startup: congrats to Wattnow for its pre-Series A round! #AfricaNext
Happy to see that Wattnow, the Smart Energy Monitoring System startup, has raised a $1,3M pre-Series A funding round, led by our first circle investor Flat6Labs & Launch Africa Ventures, and followed by VC firms such as the investors Katapult & 216 Capital.
The Tunisian start-up is an IoT Energy Management Solution that combines proprietary hardware and a cloud-based dashboard with a mobile app powered by an AI engine for energy analytics. It measures real-time energy usage to help businesses and homeowners optimize their energy consumption and reduce their costs.
