The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) as a multipurpose governmental executive agency is involved in the implementation of national and international programmes financed from the EU structural funds, state budget and multiannual programmes of the European Commission. As a key authority responsible for creating a business-friendly environment in Poland,

PARP contributes to the creation and effective implementation of the state policy related to enterprise, innovation and staff adaptability.

6 major areas of activities implemented by the PARP are:

  • Start-up market,
  • Training and skills improvement,
  • Investment in innovation,
  • Services for enterprises,
  • Infrastructure for development.

PARP is responsible for providing support for  various aspects of enterprise development including start-ups, development of innovations and internalization, in particular through:

  • Acceleration Programmes,
  • Start-up platforms schemes,
  • Go-Global type of actions.

Enterprise Europe Network and SME Development Centre both affiliated at PARP render non-financial support to SMEs, such like: training courses on different topics, information services on legal aspects of foreign trade, brokerage events, support in implementation of innovative projects, IPR management, etc.
