CTIC Dakar, created in 2011 thanks to a joint grant from the World Bank and the IFC, is the first ICT incubator in French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa and Senegal. Since its creation, the incubator has trained more than 2638 entrepreneurs and supported more than 176 companies with a cumulative turnover of 6 million dollars and an average annual growth of 41%. Our mission is to support the growth of Senegal's most promising ICT startups and SMEs. We also play a key role in structuring the local technological and entrepreneurial ecosystems by developing ICT projects, working with universities to set up their pre-incubators, and organizing challenges and networking events.
Our programs:
- Pre-incubation (Buntu Tekki): the objective of this program is to instill an entrepreneurial culture in future entrepreneurs and validate their project ideas with a view to having a good sample for a test phase.
- Acceleration: this is essentially technical, commercial and financial support for accelerated development on a national level.
- Incubation: the objective is to encourage the rise of these companies, to replicate their model internationally, to better structure their portfolio of products and customers and to facilitate their access to financing.
