Damya - Tunisian Women Business Angel Network

Under the name of DAMYA, the first network of Women Business Angels in Tunisia was created on December 17, 2019 and was announced at the closing ceremony of the ESIL program in Tunisia (Early Stage Investment Launchpad).
 
The Vision: To be a network of women investors with an impact to support innovative and sustainable entrepreneurship, especially women in Tunisia

The objectives of the network :

• Promote the culture and disseminate activities related to langelinvesting and entrepreneurship, support women entrepreneurs and organize regular meetings between members and entrepreneurs.
• Facilitate the evaluation and investment in entrepreneurial projects that are in the initial phase of their activities, and / or have high growth potential and / or are characterized by a high rate of innovation
• Facilitate the evaluation and investment in business projects with a predominance of women entrepreneurs or that are specifically dedicated to women or have at least one female co-founding member.
• Create a bridge between women investors in Tunisia and the Tunisian diaspora abroad, in order to encourage them to contribute to the development of SMEs and startups in Tunisia.
