About your organization / profile

The Hellenic Centre for Defence Innovation (HCDI) is Greece’s national vehicle for fostering innovation in defense and dual-use technologies. Established in 2024 as a public-private société anonyme, it is majority-owned by the Ministry of National Defense and co-owned by the Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations. HCDI invests in and supports start-ups, SMEs, and research institutions developing advanced defense and security technologies. It operates through dedicated innovation and development funds, providing capital, incubation, and strategic partnerships. Its mission is to bridge the Greek Armed Forces, industry, and academia to strengthen national resilience and European technological sovereignty.
