Precisis GmbH, based in Heidelberg, Germany, develops minimally invasive neurostimulation therapies for neurological disorders. Its flagship product, EASEE® (Epicranial Application of Stimulation Electrodes for Epilepsy), is a first-of-its-kind brain pacemaker for drug-resistant focal epilepsy. Implanted beneath the scalp without penetrating brain tissue, EASEE® reduces surgical risk, shortens recovery, and enhances patient comfort.
Clinical trials show 53% of patients saw reduced seizure frequency, with 17% becoming seizure-free. The CE-certified device is commercially available in parts of Europe, with U.S. regulatory efforts underway.
