Amparo aims to revolutionize prosthetics with smart, adaptable solutions for seamless patient care. Incorporated in 2021 Amparo has developed a direct fit re-moldable prosthetic socket. This allows a major transformation moving from a traditional trial-and-error iterative prosthetic fitting method that requires 4-7 visits from the patient to the O&P clinic, 30-40 hours of clinician/technician work and at least 6 weeks to deliver the prosthetic device, to a process that can be done anywhere (all the required tools fit into a rolling bag), in less than 2 hours with same day deliver of the final prosthetic device. On top of the process advantages our socket is also directly fitted to the patient ensuring the best outcomes, and can be fully re-moldable up to 5 times allowing for an easy adjustments to cope with the residual limb changes as the muscle evolves.

Since starting Amparo has grown very rapidly with sales growing 2-3x year on year. In 2024 we closed the year with ~€1.2M in sales and in Q1 2025 we are already at €820k in sales. Besides our core focus in the developed markets that has been growing consistently we are seeing a big growth in interest in the LMI markets where the majority of the amputee population is currently not served due to the lack of infrastructure. An example is our work with the Restoring Hope initiative in Gaza, where our technology is the only one allowing for prosthetic fitting in the region. 

Our products are FDA approved, CE marked, sFDA approved and our manufacturing is ISO13485 certified, meaning that all regulatory barriers have been overcome. 

We have a very experienced team with proven track record and all the necessary skills to keep growing the business.

We are now looking to raise at least £500k to support the working capital required, to accelerate growth and to deliver on R&D roadmap.
