NoMy is a fermentation technology company that creates economic, environmental and social impact by addressing some of the largest food system challenges of our times. We are changing the way the food industry thinks about "waste" - not as a costly burden - but as a resource and an opportunity.
A major problem in the food system today is that billions of liters of nutrient-rich side streams go to waste each year, due to a lack of viable ways to use them. At the same time, demand for protein is set to increase by 50% by 2050, in a global food system already operating beyond planetary boundaries.
NoMy has developed a versatile fungal fermentation technology platform to enable the food industry to transform their nutrient-rich side streams into high-value food and feed ingredients.
