Vaxinano is very pleased to announce our newest paper "Effective immuno-therapeutic treatment of Canine Leishmaniasis" in the journal PLOS Neglected Tropical diseases (doi: 10.1371/journal.pntd.0011360).
 
Canine Leishmaniasis is one of the biggest threats to the health of the South American canine population and is also frequently transmitted to human. Unfortunately, chemotherapeutics currently used as treatment fail to induce a protection over time, while inducing numerous side effects. Here we evaluated a new nasal immuno-therapeutic treatment to cure infected dogs in Brazil. We demonstrate that only 2 administrations were more efficient as the chemotherapy to reduce the skin and bone marrow parasite burden, without any side effect.

Chez Vaxinano, nous luttons chaque jour pour la préservation des espèces en voie de disparition touchées par la toxoplasmose (maladie mortelle pour bon nombre d’entre elles).

Nous venons de vacciner de nombreux singes au zoo de Brasília en partenariat avec l’UnB.
