Eyone Medical crowned first French-speaking champion of Africa's Business Heroes 2024/2025

Africa's Business Heroes (ABH), launched by the Jack Ma Foundation, is an annual competition that rewards and supports the most innovative entrepreneurs on the African continent. For the 2024 edition, more than 20,000 entrepreneurs from every region of Africa applied. After several selection phases and a final round against 9 other exceptional entrepreneurs, the CEO of Eyone Medical, Henri Ousmane Gueye, climbed to the top of the podium, giving Senegal its very first French-speaking victory.

A historic victory for Senegal and French-speaking Africa

• Record participation: 20,000 entries, Top 10 for Africa, Top 3 for the French-speaking world.
• Highlight: before his pitch, Henri Ousmane Gueye paid tribute to the song "SENEGAL REK " by Youssou Ndour, and wore a traditional outfit with the colours of the Senegalese flag, symbols of cultural pride and local creativity.
• Renowned judges: Fred Swaniker, Ibukun Awosika and Diane Karusisi praised Eyone Medical's vision and its potential to transform African healthcare systems.
