EVChargeKing's ETAPpro Wins Charging Infrastructure Innovation Award at Congres Laadinfra ’25

On February 11, 2025, during the Congres Laadinfra ’25 held at Event Lounge in Brussels, EVChargeKing was honoured with the Charging Infrastructure Innovation Award for its groundbreaking product, the ETAPpro. This award recognises innovations that significantly enhance Belgium's charging infrastructure.

The ETAPpro stands out as the first truly flexible EV charger on the market, combining a fixed charging station with a portable solution. Designed and manufactured in Belgium, it offers unparalleled flexibility to businesses, fleet managers, and individuals. Its seamless integration with Energy Management Systems (EMS) via API and Modbus TCP/IP protocols enables smart grid balancing and sustainable energy management. Additionally, its mobile design addresses charging challenges at temporary locations, and features like Multi-CPO connectivity and location-based reimbursement enhance user convenience and cost control. By emphasising reuse and local production, the ETAPpro contributes to a circular economy and a more efficient charging infrastructure, aligning perfectly with the challenges of electric mobility in Belgium.

The winner was determined through a combination of jury evaluation and public voting, each accounting for 50% of the final decision. The jury comprised Philippe Vangeel (EV Belgium), Cedric de Cauwer (Vrije Universiteit Brussel), Kim Andriessen (Fleet & Mobility), and Romain Denayer (EV Belgium).
