Ergotrics launches the first inflatable prone support specifically for patients above 120kg

Ergotrics LAUNCHES... the Inflatable Prone Support EXTRA LARGE. Specifically designed to tilt patients upto 180kg, this size specific support is a revolution in prone positioning!

The extra large IPS is optimally designed to support the rib cage and pelvis while allowing the soft tissue and abdomen to hang freely. The aim is to reduce Intra-Abdominal Pressure (IAP) and preventing venous congestion, which is further investigated by Dr F. van Eijs, anaesthetist in the Netherlands. The use of compressed air instead of manual labour is an ergonomic breakthrough in the operating room and intensive care unit.
