WindTAK is at the doorstep of the green revolution that is about to fast-forward the disengagement from Russian fuels. We come from CEE, a region accelerating the energy transition and likely a vector for green electrons to enter Ukraine and beyond. We have Usp's market needs: technology, financial and social acceptance.
We married all three Industry 4.0 virtues: deep tech aerodynamics, innovative 3d printed materials, and IoT devices, in one product called 5G VG by WindTAK. The technology footprint, smart vortex generators (VGs), are hardware add-ons cleverly placed on wind turbine blades to improve energy efficiency, much the same way the dimples make golf balls fly faster and further. Our VGs contain IoT devices to monitor wind assets 24/7 via cloud computing. A total improvement of a wind farm operator’s income may amount to +8%! This is by how much the green energy production grows.

Our invention lands spot on for the onshore and offshore farm operators who want to extend the operational life of assets and diminish the O&M costs. We help them do that by combining aerodynamics know-how with the newest 5G/IoT sensor and cloud technology. Our 5G VGs not only ease the wind park’s technical assessment and re-certification process but can also be deployed on newer platforms as well as a third-party system or simply to enhance the existing digitized predictive maintenance capabilities.
