Democratising access to XR performances and presentations, Volvid will commercialise a new media channel to help creative industries to evolve from 2D video broadcasting into live immersive 3D experiences using volumetric video that distributes a true 'videorealistic' rendition of the creator or product rather than a cartoon avatar.
Through its network of capture studios, Volvid aims to demonstrate clear avenues for creators, brands and rights owners to engage with consumers firstly in AR via smartphone then across multiple platforms as the XR sector rapidly evolves.
