Company Ownership Structure: The CEO and co-founder, Roland Wiedenroth, holds 15% of total shares in the company. Two family investment offices  invested around 1m EUR since company formation and hold combined 50% of the currently outstanding shares. The two co-founders Jens Struckmeier and Nicolas Röhrs both hold 35% of shares.

The support of family offices in our initial journey has been instrumental. Their belief in our vision has provided us with the foundation to transform ideas into tangible progress towards commercialization. Company History: In an era defined by environmental consciousness and innovation, our startup V21, founded in 2020, embarks on a mission that transcends conventional boundaries. Guided by a vision of transforming industries and contributing to a sustainable world, we set out to develop revolutionary high-performance insulation panels. These panels are poised to reshape the landscape of insulation technologies, setting new standards for efficiency, versatility, and environmental responsibility. Backed by the support of two Hamburg based family offices, our journey is driven by an unwavering commitment to a better future. 

We started the journey to develop a 21st century insulation based on a patent of our co-founder Dr. Jens Struckmeier. The 1st year we investigated the development of a glass tube-based panel before converging on the stainless steel construction with internal fibers to transfer compressive load into tensile load and finishing a TRL5 prototype in 2023/2024 that was tested and verified by an independent entity (Fraunhofer).
