"Time is Brain" (TIB) was established in Barcelona in 2020. We are a newly created technology base company founded by Alicia Martínez (CEO), Antoni Dávalos (CSO) and Jaume Coll i Cantí (Scientific advisor). We are a multidisciplinary team with solid knowledge in Neurology, medical experience and business management in the life sciences sector. The core of TIB team are the principal researchers responsable for the discovery of a new biomarker in Acute Ischemic Stroke, N20. The team includes KOL in strokes, collaborators with extensive experience in management of medtech startups, as well as profiles with leadership experience in R&D, industrialization of medical products and international marketing in multinational companies.
Alicia Martínez (CEO). Neurologist with more than 10 years of experience in electrodiagnostic test and Intraoperative Monitoring (IOM) of evoked potentials.
Antonio Dávalos (CSO). Director of the Stroke Program at public hospitals in Catalonia. International renowned KOL in the field.
Raul Zurita (COO). Over 15 years experience in the medical device industry with management positions in R&D.
Gisela Ruiz (CTO). Biomedical engineer specialized in the design of electrochemical biosensors for POCT devices.
Olivier Resnik (BD). More than 20 years of experience in business getting and project management for multinational companies.
Montserrat Gutiérrez (QA&RA). More than 25 years of experience accumulated in Notified Body and medical device.
