In 2013, in the heart of Brussels, SUMY "Sustainable Urban Logistics & Mobility" got started. SUMY was founded by Ms. Hinde Boulbayem actual Mobility Manager and CEO.
The company is offering eco-logistics and sustainable freight mobility services for cold chains such as temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals and food industries. In 2013, SUMY was the first Belgian company to start using light-duty vehicles called Natural Gas Vehicles (NGV) for moving thermo-sensitive goods in Belgium.
The green technology vehicles used by SUMY are an in-house technology combination of a silent e-refrigeration system instead of a noisy, polluting, diesel refrigerating system and a motorization powered by compressed Natural European gas (CNG) or European compressed Renewable Natural Gas (RNG).
