Subcuject is developing a wearable bolus injection device for 1-10 ml subcutanous delivery of pharmaceuticals that is both "patient centric" AND "pharma company centric". The injector will be the most patient- and environment friendly wearable injector for single use. The device is fully mechanical, has inherent low CoGS, low complexity and is designed to fit pharma development processes.
This is unlike competitors who rely on complex and expensive electromechanical products.
The Subcuject WBI will do for larger volumes (1-10 ml) what the autoinjector does for low volumes.
The company was founded in January 2017 and has developed a functional device model. Current investors are VF Venture, Vaekstfonden, Denmark and Capnova, a Danish business incubator.
There is good interest in the product from the major pharma companies.
We are now looking to close a round of 2-3 MEUR in order to create regulatory documentation on the device alone and prepare for co-development of the first drug/device combination products with one or more pharma companies
