SMS Data Systems GmbH has been founded in 1992, as specialized Design House for custom electronic designs. We design and develop custom electronic products (software and hardware) based on customer requirements. In almost 30 years we have done various development projects for different customers all over the world. In the 90’s we were pioneering mobile communication technology and in the last decade our focus has moved more towards sensor systems and IoT area. 

We are very well positioned on the market as the design house for mobile solutions, known to be capable of solving even most complicated technical and technological challenges. Last three years we have intensified our efforts to develop our own products especially in the field of the ad-hoc communications technology - Direct Mode, which enables  direct communication between devices without any network infrastructure..
