Recobia Therapeutics

Recobia Therapeutics is a spin-off from the Institut de Cancérologie Strasbourg Europe (ICANS), created in 2022. Our pre-clinical biotech start-up is developing a hydrogel delivery platform for subcutaneous administration of biotherapies in the field of oncology/hematology. Our delivery platform is based on a chitosan-based hydrogel, a biocompatible and biodegradable polymer commonly used in the delivery of active pharmaceutical ingredients for example. By converting intravenously administered formulations into subcutaneously injectable formulations, Recobia Therapeutics aims to facilitate access to cutting-edge cancer treatments for patients and improve their quality of life by promoting a faster, easier and more convenient route of administration for both patients and hospital staff.
