Prometheus is an Italian innovative Startup working in the field of Medical devices with application on regenerative medicine.
The company, incorporated in November 2017, is based in Mirandola (MO), Italy, one of the most important European Districts for Medical Devices. The team is now composed by 3 co-founders with a background on biotechnologies, 3D printing and device automation and an employee working as Marketing & Communication Responsible.
The Team is supported by an official Advisory Board including representatives from the Financial, Scientific and Helathcare Regulatory fields. In particular, Dr. Andrea Chiesi (R&D portfolio manager of Chiesi Farmaceutici S.p.A., one of the most important European pharma companies) is one of the older members of our advisory board, supporting the team in the definition of regulatory steps, related budget and in the establishment of networks.
Prometheus also collaborates with universities, such as the University of Parma and Perugia, that are supporting and validating the project under a scientific, technical and clinical point of view.
The Ematik project for human wound care has been also validated and is now supported by important and well re-known Clinical key opinion leaders, working both in the field of chronic wounds and surgical wounds.
