Powertime has established itself as a leader in prepaid electricity vending in South Africa, the pioneer in terms of prepaid metering with 11 Million meters deployed across the country, and an annual transaction value of R50 billion (€3.5B).

Powertime has developed a strong technology stack and is integrated with the leading prepaid vendind systems in use in most developping countries (Itron, Cigicell, Landis&Gyr, Easypay, Syntell).

Powertime has opened its first new market in 2017 with the launch of Amgatesi, our service in Zimbabwe. 

Powertime is now ready to replicate the technology overseas.
