Posamas, is an innovative company focused on developing high-value, sustainable, and functional ingredients from grape pomace, the main by-product of wine production. Our mission is to build a bridge between the wine industry and other industries — including food, cosmetics, and nutraceuticals — by transforming grape pomace into standardized, traceable, antioxidant-rich active ingredients that contribute to human health and well-being.
Posamas was founded with a clear focus on circular economy and sustainability, turning a valuable but underutilized by-product into high-quality natural ingredients. Our operations started in Kalecik, Ankara, a region renowned for its unique local wine grape variety, which is exceptionally rich in phenolic compounds and antioxidants. By starting from Kalecik, we aim to create a localized, value-adding production model that also strengthens regional economies and supports sustainable agriculture.
At Posamas, we have developed an end-to-end, traceable, and standardized upcycling process, designed to maintain the biological activity of valuable compounds found in grape pomace. Our process itself is part of our product, meaning that we offer not just raw materials but reliable, high-quality, and consistent active ingredients that meet the growing demand for natural and functional bioactives.
