Pi Lighting

Pi Lighting has been founded in 2014 in Sion, Switzerland, with the objective to provide support in R&D LED developments. Our main role is to provide advanced expertise and tools from the semiconductor fab to the optical system. Our main business is developing advanced functions and systems for our customers, manufacturers of LED solutions, systems in Lighting and Equipment suppliers for production environments with a special focus on LED modelling, reliability, process variability, colourimetry, horticulture and human centric lighting applications. In that regard, we keep ourselves at the edge of research and development in these  domains of expertise. We also strongly contribute to the development and industrialization of our customers products at the technical and project management levels. We also attend light fairs and scientific conferences to extend our customer base and find new technical partners, investors and customers. We are also actively involved in Delphi4LED, a 15 partners ECSEL European project whose ambition is to model luminaires thermally, optically and electrically prior to the prototyping phase.

On top of our daily R&D support activities, our combined past expertise in the semiconductors and SSL light industries generated the knowledge and possibility to develop product IP and projects in fields related to LED applications such as complex multichannel light systems for applications such as horticulture, human centric lighting and LiFi.
