The Pharma market in Egypt is the largest in Africa ($5B USD) and Saudi is the largest in the GCC ($10B USD) , as well as the fastest growing (12% and 7% 5Y CAGR). Yet the market is fragmented ( 70,000 pharmacies and more than 2,500 suppliers), under-financed ( strict payment plans) and un-automated ( manual procurement through phone calls).
Pharmacy Marts is MENA's first managed B2B marketplace for pharmacies, including Marketplace (Distributors, Wholesalers and Manufacturers) , Fintech ( on and off balance sheet) and logistics arms ( Same day delivery) . We have been operating for over three years and acquired more than (12,000 Pharmacy) 20% of the pharmacies in Egypt, with more than 3,000 active pharmacies on monthly basis - reaching $500K + monthly GMV, with growth of 160% YoY (FY23 Vs. FY22), and with a take rate of 5%.
Pharmacy Marts acquire pharmacies through both F2F (sales team) , as well as digital channels ( Social media, SMS and calls). with an omnichannel engagement strategy.
Pharmacy Marts built a strong network of partnerships in different verticals , Banks ( Ex.QNB and NBE ), Microfinance companies and payment facilitators ( Ex. VISA, Flend, Paymob, Opay) and Manufacturers ( Ex. Unilever , Johnson and Johnson, L'oreal, Pharco and Eva Pharma).
In addition to those achievements, We currently have a partnership (SaaS) with a Saudi based Information Technology provider in the healthcare sector, to expand to Saudi, with contract value of $ 2.5 M over 3 years.
Overall we are currently at $1 M + ARR , Profitable and 50%+ of our revenues are in USD.
