About your organization / profile
Perfusion Tech, a Danish MedTech company founded in 2016 and headquartered in Copenhagen, has developed an innovative image analysis platform for real-time quantification and visualization of blood supply during Fluorescent Guided Surgery (FGS). The platform enables standardized, data-driven decision-making to enhance surgical precision and safety.
Backed by a strong intellectual property portfolio, Perfusion Tech holds two granted patents with three additional applications pending.
The company's first-generation software, PerfusionWorks, designed for real-time blood perfusion quantification in FGS, is CE-marked, with FDA clearance expected by 2025.
A reseller agreement has been secured with Renew Health Ltd., a strategic investor and the world’s leading provider of Indocyanine Green (ICG), the fluorescent dye predominantly used in FGS.
Perfusion Tech is privately owned by its founders and investors and led by an experienced management team and board with proven industry track records.
Introducing Perfusion Vision: Next-Generation Innovation
To focus on advancing its second-generation software while continuing to support PerfusionWorks, Perfusion Tech has spun off the company Perfusion Vision.
Perfusion Vision’s blood vessel mapping technology is initially targeting lung cancer surgery. Using microdoses of a fluorescent dye, it generates real-time vessel maps that can be superimposed on the surgeon’s camera screen on-demand, to enable safer navigation around critical and hard-to-see anatomical structures.
This innovation has the potential to significantly enhance patient safety while reducing costs for early-stage lung cancer treatment.
By expanding access to minimally invasive lung cancer surgery, Perfusion Vision technology has potential to achieve ~€1 billion in healthcare savings by 2030 across the EU and US.
Seeking Funding for Market Expansion
Perfusion Vision is currently seeking ~€4 million in funding to complete the development of its blood vessel mapping software and secure regulatory approvals for commercialization in both EU and US markets.
