PARQUERY

Parquery is a spin-off from ETH Zürich, Switzerland, currently employing 11 people. Created in 2014, we currently operate in more than 40 projects in 20 countries worldwide.
 

Parquery has developed in-house computer vision and deep learning algorithms which analyse any image from any already-installed camera, in order to provide real-time results to customers. Our first application is a smart parking solution, with gives real-time information on both parking occupancy and exact parking duration, a description of which can be found here: http://www.parking-net.com/parking-news/parquery-ag/smart-parking-system-facilitates-enforcement . Our customers (supermarkets, airports, private car parks, cities, gas stations...) therefore get real-time results with no additional infrastructure!
 

Compared to our competitors (sensors, embedded video analysis), our main advantages are reliability and cost-efficiency. Snapshots from cameras are first analysed either locally or on cloud servers, then deleted, and finally results are transferred to customers via APIs or dashboards with structured statistics. Customers therefore get results 99% accurate with no additional infrastructure required.
 

Today, in collaboration with industrial partners, Parquery is now diversifying its portfolio with:
- real-time analysis of mobility flows, in indoor or outdoor environments,
- real-time passenger counting on-board public transport vehicles,
- and real-time optimization of goods in warehouses.
