Problem: 95% of cervical cancer cases are caused by HPV. Current HPV detection methods primarily target women, leaving a significant gap in cervical cancer prevention by overlooking men as carriers of the virus.
Solution: Papilio.Bio is developing a self-test for HPV detection, designed for both men and women, to make prevention more accessible and reduce cervical cancer cases by empowering individuals to take control of their health.
Papilio.Bio is also working on the development of an application to support individuals who test positive for HPV. This app helps users schedule healthcare appointments, understand their test results, and receive personalized follow-up plans. It also provides educational resources on HPV prevention and treatment, enabling users to take charge of their health.
