Omnibiz is a B2B e-commerce platform that serves CPG goods to retailers. 96% of the $30 billion trade market of West Africa is run by traditional retailers. There are 1.5 million retailers and 76% of them are women.

We are aggressively increasing our retailer base through an efficient field force and digital marketing. Once onboard, we strive to grow the retailers’ profits by offering them digital wallets, additional working capital loans (Buy now pay later), and a retail operating system application with multiple functionalities (My Store app). 

To enable the supply of goods, we stick to an asset-light model by collaborating with existing market players, especially distributors and logistics providers. To facilitate our growth, be operationally efficient, and increase all party’s profitability, we digitize these partners, provide them easy to use dashboards and train them on processes. Since we supply directly to the customer, we have a healthy take rate of 9% of GMV. Further, we partner with manufacturers to promote specific products and offer them data about demand and product availability in the trade channel. 

Omnibiz grew from operational in June 2020 to 60K+ customers in just 18 months. We have expanded to 6 cities in Nigeria and are expanding 1 city every month. We offer over 500 SKUs from 30 manufacturers. In 2022, we intend to grow to 200K customers across 4 countries in West Africa and expand the product offerings and categories.
