Oceanium Ltd

Oceanium uses green biorefining of seaweed to produce bio-packaging and food ingredients sold into high-growth markets worth $180bn, absorbing carbon and reducing ocean acidification. Addressing SDGs 2, 8 9, 12 and 14, we use sustainable, green chemistry to refine seaweed into more sustainable products vs land-based plants. Seaweed is one of the fastest growing plants on earth, sequestering large amounts of carbon and nitrogen, and does not use land, pesticides, fertilizer or fresh water. Oceanium will use green chemistry to produce two initial income streams:  Food & Nutrition Products (including plant protein and fibre) and Bio-packaging (home-compostable, marine-safe).  We purchase sustainably farmed kelp and produce biorefinery co-products for sale to end-user companies (eg Unilever), multi-national food ingredient suppliers (eg Cambridge Commodities), and biopackaging converters Oceanium will use green chemistry to produce two initial income streams:  Food & Nutrition Products (including plant protein and fibre) and Bio-packaging (home-compostable, marine-safe).  We purchase sustainably farmed kelp and produce biorefinery co-products for sale to end-user companies (eg Unilever), multi-national food ingredient suppliers (eg Cambridge Coomodities), and biopackaging converters.
