Monitor CR

Monitor CR is a company from Poland, dedicated to develop MCR TOOLS - a novel ICT solution for remote monitoring of medical source data in clinical trials. Our product enables shortening of the monitoring process and minimizing its cost.

No new drug can be placed on the market without previous clinical trials. During each clinical trial, a monitoring process is mandatory, including review and verification of source documentation (medical history of the participant of the trail), which is currently held in electronical medical records. The monitoring requirement is currently fulfilled by personal visits of clinical research associates (CRA) in the hospitals in which the trial is conducted – only there the original source documentation is available. The monitoring constitutes 20-40% of trial cost (on average EUR 108 million). The main problem we are responding to is to provide secure and GCP-compliant access to source documentation for monitoring purposes and to allow the use of medical data (from existing resources) of clinical trial participants in process management.

Our founder - Mariusz Olejniczak, as a CRA has extensive experience in the process of monitoring procedures in clinical trials. Based on this experience, additional research, and a professional market analysis we have confirmed the market potential of our product. Now
MCR TOOLS - a system od 3 applications is ready to use, tested in real environment and validated by clients (as AstraZeneca).
