METHYS Dx

METHYS Dx is a Deeptech diagnostics company founded in Sept. 2021, dedicated to the development of personalized medicine through non-invasive monitoring techniques. Located in Paris, METHYS Dx is currently composed of 12 people. METHYS Dx originates from more than 10 years of fruitful collaboration between 2 internationally renowned teams with complementary expertises: the MEPPOT team (Personalized Medicine, Pharmacogenomics and therapeutic optimization, Cordeliers research center, Univ. Paris Cité), with expertise in oncology, translational research and biomarker discovery, and the SPM team (system and molecular programming, Gulliver laboratory, ESPCI, Paris) with expertise in technology development and its application to human health challenges. METHYS Dx develops and commercializes the Onco-Me tests for liquid biopsies, i.e. the analysis of biological fluids (e.g. blood, urine, etc.) that target the detection of specific cancer markers. METHYS Dx already holds a portfolio of cancer biomarker signatures allowing, thanks to the quantitative detection of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA), the precise non-invasive follow-up of cancer patients. Our portfolio of proprietary markers are targeting pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, lung cancer and endometrial cancers. Detection of these methylation biomarkers can currently be carried out for patients with advanced or locally advanced cancer with existing technology (digital PCR). These digital PCR assays are proposed by the company as wet-lab service since end of 2022 and as RUO kits since September 2024. We are also developing a disruptive ultra-sensitive technology (planned launch in 2027), which will allow detection of these biomarkers for patients with cancers at early stages, when treatment could be most beneficial. Our tests will enable a better management of cancer patients, thus improving both their quality of life and survival.
