Megatex GmbH is a spin-out from Megatex Group, which is an undisputed leader in the field of electronics, based on LED and LCD technologies, and innovations and their incorporation in the everyday life. For more than 30 years the Megatex's companies have managed to realize innovative projects in more than 40 countries worldwide.

Over the past few years, we have expanded the areas we are dealing with. Besides traditional electronics, we started working on projects for appliances and devices with the presence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoTs). In the last 7-8 years, we spent a lot of time, energy and money in developing the new concept for refrigerators.

The problem that we are addressing is related to the functionality of the current refrigerators. No achievement of medicine, product preservation, diagnostics, measurement and electronics is used in the refrigerator now in order to prevent food rotting and thus to assure that the other products put in the fridge will not get contaminated.

For that reason, we at Megatex are developing a complete solution in the proper food storage, preventing food spoilage, and assisting in the successful use of food products for a longer time. We do this by combining consumables, testers, sensors, and software in one brand new appliance, similar to the refrigerator, but with AI and IoT capabilities.
