MCVE Technologie : manufacturing multi-functionalized GFRP to be embedded in composite

 

Company history: 

MCVE Technologie was founded in July 2019 in Augny, France by Christian Weisse and Claude Labro. MCVE Technology has a strong team of 4 people with expertise in electrochemistry, materials science, and industrial development process, and was started with a motivation to develop printed electronics for the smart composite industry, and to help monitor and improve the lifespan of infrastructures.  MCVE Technologie has developed a unique facility and process for the deposition of copper-based paste for the metallization of circuits/sensors for large-scale manufacturing of smart fabrics/smart composites. This represents several years of R&D investment which places the company in a unique position to supply sustainable solutions to the structural health monitoring markets. MCVE Technologie won the i-Lab (The digital innovation lab) competition, which provided the initial financial support for its research on formulation of the EOPROM paste and electronic printing on different substrates such as plastic and glass fiber.

 

Vision and Ambition: 

We have an increasingly strong evidence base for the efficacy of our EOPROM formulation and the manufacturing process of smart composites that were validated for heating circuits and antenna circuits and are involved in collaborative projects to understand piezoelectric (PZE) sensors and their deposition on flexible substrates that can be integrated into composite structures for real-time monitoring of the structures. 

Our vision for MCVE Technology is to be the leading European manufacturer of formulations and continuous processes for the large-scale manufacturing of electronic functions in composites. MCVE Technologie will also offer modeling services for the integration of electronic components and functions in Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer/Plastics (GFRP), and Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics (CFRP) composite materials, along with offering consultation to manufacturers in the field of smart fabrics. 

Our ambition is to be the front-line supplier for the mass production of flexible electronic circuits, leveraging the value generated by the structural health monitoring applications to support and extend the structure life span.
