Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture has been known as a textile town for over 1300 years. Our company manufactures both prototype and actual textile products by making use of the area�s traditional craft of Kiryu textiles. We have participated in R&D projects with Gunma University and Gunma Prefecture Textile Laboratory. Another facet of our operation includes our functions as a trading company for Japanese and Western-style clothing, such as textile and kimono material procurement and coordination. We launched the KIRMON brand for the purpose of global marketing, and mostly targeting the French market. We will aim to enhance recognition in the global market by building on the momentum of the nearby Tomioka Silk Mill being added to the World Heritage List in 2014.
