Overview IMMA Health is revolutionizing women’s health with its innovative robotic transvaginal endocavity ultrasound probe, combined with a unique automated data processing system for easy at-home ultrasound self-scanning. Our mission is to democratize access to pelvic health through an unprecedented modelling of women's internal anatomy. Our initial focus is medical fertility. aiming to enhance both IVF clinics and physician capabilities with an accurate, reliable, and user-friendly solution. By combining advanced technologies with a user-centric design, we aim to transform the fertility journey and address significant gaps in global reproductive health care.

Market Need The global fertility market faces a major supply-demand imbalance, with only 2-4% of the estimated 48 million infertile couples receiving treatment each year, primarily due to high costs and limited access. Currently, 8-15% of couples of childbearing age encounter fertility challenges. Fertility rates have dropped by half since the 1960s, and as Europe faces a major fertility crisis, the demand for ART continues to grow, raising social and political concerns. However, IVF remains expensive, stressful for patients, difficult to access, and marked by low success rates—partly due to suboptimal fertility monitoring methods.

We are addressing two key gaps in fertility care: improving traditional treatment models and expanding the role of digital clinics.

  • We are transforming the brick-and-mortar fertility model by introducing innovative solutions that improve monitoring and treatment, increasing access and success rates.
  • We are developing a new market segment through digital clinics, where remote monitoring tools will expand treatment access and serve currently underserved patient groups.

The IMMA Solution is a comprehensive system integrating the IMMA Box— a physical ultrasound device—with an advanced software suite featuring AI and human-machine interface (HMI) capabilities. The system enables automated 3D pelvic imaging, allowing women to perform self-guided transvaginal scans at home, providing greater control and privacy in managing their fertility journey. By transitioning from a clinic-centric model to a remote approach, IMMA transforms the fertility care process, making it more accessible and streamlined.

IMMA’s probe needs neither manipulation nor guidance, offering a fully patient centric, a revolutionary approach with a completely reinvented transvaginal ultrasound probe. The patient only needs to hold the probe in place, no hand movement and no look on structure to acquire optimal images. The system is a truly easy self-scanning for novice users

Second USP: PRECISE FOLLOW-UP for enhanced monitoring quality at no additional cost. IMMA enables daily individual follicle monitoring with high repeatability and accuracy, eliminating inter-operator variation. This allows for precise comparisons of scans over time, introducing the concept of “timelapse-like” monitoring for individual follicles—an approach that currently does not exist. By generating a comprehensive data set and correlating it with hormone dosages, IMMA enables precise optimization of hormone treatments during stimulation and accurate timing of egg retrieval and trigger injections. This area of research holds the potential to improve oocyte cohorts by allowing timely interventions during stimulation—before the oocytes reach the lab, when it is often too late to influence outcomes. Ultrasound becomes data and data becomes new biomarkers.
