ICON Photonics is an early-stage deeptech start-up coming up from academic research, we are an CNRS spin-off.
ICON Photonics tackles the photonics packaging and assembly challenges by developing and commercializing advanced fiber-to-the-chip connectivity solutions for optical and quantum applications. Those solutions increase optical interconnect efficiency by providing the lowest optical losses, delivering easy assembly process.
ICON Photonics was awarded by the highly selective and prestigious i-Lab innovation competition, organized by the French Ministry of higher education, research, and innovation. It was particularly noticeable with one of the ten grand prizes given by a national jury awarding particularly remarkable projects focusing on one of today’s major societal challenges, giving a grant to fund the company technology developments. The company was also listed among the 100 start-ups where to invest in 2022.
