i-Grape Laboratory SL (i-Grape) obtains natural bioactive extracts from waste generated in the agricultural and food sectors, using a patented technology characterized by its efficiency both on the energy consumption and its performance. The extracts have antimicrobial, antioxidant, radical scavenging and fungicidal properties, and can be used in a wide range of industries such as pharmaceutical, food & feed, veterinary, cosmetics, phytosanitary and biocide among others.

In addition, the exhausted vegetal waste after the extraction is treated with a patented technology in a vermireactor to get a vermicompost with a high water-holding capacity, microbiologically active, high content of humic substances and nutrients, well-established bacterial and fungal communities, and large load of extracellular enzymes.

The vision of our company is to substitute or decrease the use of chemical products alongside products derived from fossil sources; to valorize a residue of the agricultural and food industries; and to create a new value chain in the agricultural sector, within a Circular Economy and Sustainability framework.
