Hyper Wind

Hyper Wind is a deep-tech green energy startup founded in September 2021 in Naples, Italy. The company specializes in advanced wind turbine aerodynamics with a patented Active Flow Control (AFC) system that improves turbine efficiency by 15% and reduces the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) by 10%.

The company has a multidisciplinary team of 6 professionals, including experts in aerospace engineering, finance, and renewable energy. The technical leadership is provided by Daniel Guariglia (CEO, Aerospace Engineer, PhD) and Fabrizio Sardella (Technical Director, ex-Vestas, 30+ years in wind energy R&D), with financial strategy managed by Samuele Beraha (CFO, expert in private equity and fundraising).

Hyper Wind has  secured €448,100 in funding, including Tech4Planet (€250,000), BRAVO Grant (€37,500), Brevetti+ Grant (€121,600 pending), and Encubator (€40,000).

The company collaborates with leading research institutions, including University of Florence (Italy) and DTU Wind Energy (Denmark), to develop high-performance wind energy solutions. Hyper Wind is currently engaging with global wind farm operators, energy developers, and investors to commercialize its AFC technology, which is suitable for both onshore and offshore turbines. It has already a signed NDA with a global top 10 wind turbine OEM and letters of interests from major Energy Companies in Europe.

With patented European technology (EP3924619) and a strong innovation roadmap, Hyper Wind aims to redefine wind energy efficiency, enabling a faster and more cost-effective transition to renewable energy worldwide. Additionally, the company has been granted a patent in China (CN 113557357 B), further strengthening its intellectual property portfolio and expanding its market potential in Asia.
