Software development is inefficient. A large share of costs within software development projects is caused by routine tasks, domain adjustments, technical changes and communication complications.
Generato has set itself the goal of establishing a DDaaS platform with which the development of individual software solutions can be simplified and accelerated. With Generato, users can first visually capture software systems in smaller functional subcomponents for different architectures and then generate or modify them repetitively by using code templates.
Generato combines advantages of highly productive no-code/ low-code solutions (e.g. Wavemaker) and more flexible Open Source alternatives (e.g. JHipster) and thus closes a niche: Due to the minimalistic visual approach and the generation of code with templates, Generato enables equally high time savings as low code/no-code solutions, improves the transparency and reduces the complexity of projects and offers, among other things, a significantly higher flexibility due to the aspect of regeneration - whilst providing a competitive pricing.
As of July 2019 Generato has been granted the EXIST scholarship by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and has developed a MVP.
Generato's team is based in Hamburg, Germany and has extensive experience in programming, marketing and (financial) management. It currently consists of Paul Coch, Philip Schenk and Cedrik Dudek.
