GaltTec is a deep-tech university spin-off from the University of Tartu in Estonia. We make small and powerful electric power sources using our proprietary microtubular solid oxide fuel cell technology. Our compact and high-power fuel cells meet the unique needs of industries seeking sustainable and efficient energy sources for portable or off-grid devices. We are a team of 8.

Compared to same weight batteries, we can provide 5x longer operational time, which has immense effect on various portable use-cases, where the form-factor is the restricting element. Furthermore, compared to existing solutions our fuel cells can withstand significantly more harmful environments, such as extremely dry air, hotness, or coldness. 

As of now, we are focusing on 4 main sectors: drones, off-grid, space, and defense, with drones being our beachhead market. 

We have signed multiple LOIs and a pre-sale agreement with drone manufacturers.

As of now, we have raised a pre-seed round of EUR 1M and now we are fundraising EUR 3.5M for our seed round. These funds will be used to establish a small-scale production line for 1kW fuel cells and fund operational growth, both of which will enable to deliver to first customers in mid-2026.
