Denovo Biotechnology Inc. was founded in 2009 at Middle East Technical University Technopark.  Denovo Biotechnology Inc. has been conducting R&D studies about diagnostic device manufacturing, PCR based diagnostic kit development, aptamer based diagnostic kit development, nucleic acid isolation kit development, and nanoparticle synthesis. In production, current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) are applied.

Denovo Biotechnology Inc. has experience in oligonucleotide primer and probe design, PCR optimization, oligonucleotide immobilization onto nanoparticles, nanoparticle synthesis, systematic evolution of ligands by exponential enrichment (SELEX), Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism (RFLP), Real-Time PCR quantification assay via TaqMan and molecular beacon probes, Real-Time PCR melting assay, recombinant protein production, and recombinant protein purification via aptamers.
