THE DEMOCRATIC COMPANY

CODEMOS is a worldwide platform for a smarter democracy, empowering citizens to contribute in their cities to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations. Available in 6 languages, and made as a serious game, CODEMOS has a very user friendly approach. Citizens can propose the creation of public infrastructure (school, park, hospital…) or private projects (SMEs…) or even organise events to make their dream city comes true. CODEMOS measures for each public project submitted to the platform:  CO2 reduction, job creation, time saved for citizens and alignment to the SDG of citizens project. This fast assessment and the playful environment allows to manage expectations from citizens. The best project in this respect can be submitted to vote and the most popular are then proposed to the municipality for implementation. The platform will also allow to help funding some projects in the future to help municipalities meet their citizens needs. With this democratic tool, municipalities can focus only on constructive and useful proposals that best satisfies their citizens to minimize their administrative cost while maximizing the inclusion of their citizens.
