The manual tagging of event data holds immense value for sports organizations globally, transcending specific sports like tennis, football or rugby. Why? Because this type of event data, also known as action data, holds invaluable significance for sports organizations (clubs, federations, broadcasters, etc.) as it allows decoding of sporting performance and thereby facilitates decision-making optimization for performance and increased spectator engagement. It seems unbelievable, almost archaic, considering the plethora of automated analysis available today, that this task remains manual. Yet, that's the reality; today, all action annotations are manually done for every sport, be it tennis, football, rugby, basketball, and more. 

Deeptimize offers an artificial intelligence solution, founded by two AI PhDs, which enables automatic tagging, from any video from any camera, of all significant actions in any sport in real-time. 
Our product is a platform that allows anyone, with just two clicks, to integrate this unique technology into their activities or products. 

With our first seven clients, we are already fortunate to be working on integrating our technology into Top 14 stadiums, the five major handball leagues in Europe, and across all French tatamis. 

Thus, we already have a strong foundation to address the market representing the global need for this type of data in sports. And just with the types of clients we target with our platform, around 20,000 professional clubs with a monthly subscription of 10,000 euros, the opportunity is already at 2.4 billion euros. This figure is even more impressive for two crucial reasons: firstly, it only concerns professional clubs, which opens the door to the amateur club market, a flourishing market worth 34 billion euros, consisting of over 1.2 million clubs. Secondly, this initial market of professional clubs is particularly receptive to our offer, as evidenced by our partnerships with heavyweights such as Manchester City in football and Racing 92 in rugby. 

And if these stakeholders are so receptive, it's because, indeed, for these clubs, the only existing solutions provide inaccurate, expensive data, usually available after more than 24 or 48 hours (the time it takes for humans to do manual annotation work). And although imperfect, these data already generate hundreds of millions of euros annually. For example, Opta, the market leader, generates revenue of over 120 million euros each year by placing human annotators from developing countries in every stadium. That's why, with the precision and speed of Deeptimize's platform, we are perfectly positioned to capture this growing market! 

Therefore, in terms of commercial strategy and positioning, we initially target football clubs as they represent nearly 40% of the market in Europe, but also rugby and tennis because they are sports where working with data is already widespread, and the need is felt very intensely. These are also sports in which we have already gained technological advancement. 

Deeptimize today comprises 9 individuals full-time, including two co-founders who are AI PhDs, combining their expertise to develop the first solution for automatic event tagging in any sport.
