About
CytaCoat AB is a Swedish private company which has developed a unique antimicrobial coating for medical devices. The company was founded by a group of researchers from the Karolinska Institute, one of the foremost medical universities in the world, and the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH).
CytaCoat has a fully equipped laboratory in the Karolinska Institutet Science Park, where we perform microbiology evaluation, optimisation of the CytaCoat technology and pilot plant production.
CytaCoat’s business strategy is to out-license the unique antimicrobial coating to manufacturers of medical devices. We do pilot plant production for providing samples of our coating to potential clients.
