About your organization / profile

We have developed technology to make synthetic methane for natural-gas vehicles. Methane will be produced from renewable electricity and the CO2 emissions captured from industrial flue gases, and will then be made available for CNG cars via the natural gas network and existing CNG filling stations. The technology might also be attractive to produce renewable liquefied natural gas (LNG) and renewable jet fuel. We are in talks with LNG and jet fuel producers in Qatar that currently get LNG and jet fuel from the fossil fuels (natural gas and petroleum) – our system could help such operations develop new climate friendly products. Finally, this is a carbon-recycling technology enabling to produce a CO2 derived methane for further use in the existing energy infrastructure. It “harvests” harmful CO2 emissions from the flue gases of large CO2 emitters such as oil refineries, coal-fired power plants and concrete factories. We believe that this technology will accelerate the uptake and commercial deployment of CCS (carbon capture and geological storage) projects and can mitigate nearly 30 percent of the world’s CO2 emissions, thus bringing the world closer to addressing its climate change challenges.
